I Cannot Believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong Because He Died! Why Did He Die?
Christ Ahnsahnghong is God Almighty, Who took on the human form, so that He may understand us and be able to comfort us in our trials on this earth, and ultimately lead us to heaven (Heb 2:14-17). In every way, He came like one of us, to live like us, and also suffered as humans suffer on this earth, for our salvation. For many people, It's hard to believe that Christ Ahnsahnghong is God for the simple fact that He died. Yes, if you did not know, Christ Ahnsahnghong passed away in 1985, and returned back to the Kingdom of Heaven. Because of this, there are people that slander the Church of God, due to their lack of knowledge of God. Members of the Church of God are also slandered and mocked by people, even friends, family and co-workers, who say things like, "Christ Ahnsahnghong died! How can you believe He is God?"
One thing to keep in mind: To those who believe in God and receive the Christ when He comes, He is precious to that person, and God gives him more proofs so that He can believe. To those who do not believe, and want to deny Christ, God gives even more reasons why not to believe, and ultimately, Christ becomes to them, "A Stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall" (2 Pet. 2:6-8).
If Christ Ahnsahnghong carried out His life, fulfilling all the prophecies of the Bible, then can anyone deny He is Christ, just because He died? It doesn't make any sense. If everything Christ Ahnsahnghong did was to fulfill Bible prophecy, then why did He die? It must have been because it was also for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
Then, Why did Christ Ahnsahnghong Die?
1. The Bible Says Christ Cannot Die Again. So Why Did Christ Ahnsahnghong Die?
"Life is like a fortune cookie." Some people apply this same philosophy to their knowledge of God and of the Bible. If the Bible were only John 3:16, then it would be enough to just believe in Jesus to be saved. Fortunately, it's not.
Like taking one verse of the Bible and only believing that's all that is needed for salvation, there are people who speak against the Church of God and irrationally put all their hopes on one verse, to try and deny that Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Second Coming of Christ. One of their favorite verses is this one:
Romans 6:9 - "For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him."
As people who take a quote from a fortune cookie and believe that it defines their whole life, those who are against the Church of God use this verse and say, "the Bible says that Christ cannot die again. But Christ Ahnsahnghong died. Then how can He be the Christ?"
Does this verse really mean that Christ Ahnsahnghong is not the Christ?
2. "Why Did Christ Ahnsahnghong Die?"... You Don't Know?
As I mentioned earlier, everything Christ Ahnsahnghong did as He carried out His life to restore the lost truth, He did it to fulfill Bible prophecy. Then, without a doubt, we can understand that the reason Christ Ahnsahnghong died was also to fulfill Bible prophecy.
Adam and Eve - Not Just a Story, But Prophecy
We've all grown up hearing the story of Adam and Eve. Though many regard it as just that, a story, in reality, there is a deep mystery concerning God inside of the Garden of Eden and Adam and Eve. The Bible says that God created the first man, Adam, to allow us to understand about Christ, who is, as the Bible says, the last Adam:
1 Corinthians 15:45-47 - "So it is written: 'The first man Adam became a living being'; the last Adam(- that is, Christ; NLT), a life-giving spirit. The spiritual did not come first, but the natural , and then the spiritual. The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven."
Romans 5:14 - "... as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come (Now Adam is a symbol, a representation of Christ - NLT).
It's very clear through the Bible that God created Adam as a representation of Christ, or in other words; so that through Adam, we can understand Christ. Then the question is, "what did God want to teach us about Christ, through Adam?" The answer is simple: Christ is the life-giving spirit, in the pattern of Adam. In other words, He is coming in the pattern of Adam, as the last Adam, to give us eternal life. So in order to understand how Christ will give us this eternal life, we just need to look at Adam, who represents Christ and we can find the answer.
So how was it that Adam gave life?
