Matthew 24: Jesus Warned Me About Christ Ahnsahnghong

I read an article recently on thetruewmscog that reminded me of several situations I encountered in my life of faith as a member of the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG). This article in particular concerned the insistence that some people have about the WMSCOG and Christ Ahnsahnghong, stating that the WMSCOG is wrong because of the following verse:

Matthew 24:23-26 - “At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect - if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time. So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it…”

As I read the article, I remembered several instances in which I tried to share the good news that Christ came again, with either an acquaintance or relative, and they brought up this verse. As I told them about Christ Ahnsahnghong, some of them said to me, “Christ Ahnsahnghong is a false Christ, because Jesus said not to believe anyone who says, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms.’” Some have called me a false prophet who preaches about a false Messiah. In this same way, some people insist that the WMSCOG is a false church.

Things like this make me wonder: For all those who say “Jesus warned me about Christ Ahnsahnghong!,” how many of them actually know Jesus? Not just that He was a man and did miracles, but I mean really knew Him according to the laws of God and the prophecies about Him in the Bible? By the end of this blog post, you will understand that, out of those who speak these things against Christ Ahnsahnghong and the WMSCOG, none of them really know Jesus at all.

Christ Will Appear A Second Time

When you look into their logic for this argument against Christ Ahnsahnghong and the WMSCOG, you find that it actually makes no sense. This is one big reason why:

Hebrews 9:28 - so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

The Bible clearly says He will appear a second time. In order to receive salvation, we need to receive Him when He comes again in the last days. If we insist on this argument in Matthew 24, then no one will receive Him when He appears, being full of skepticism. Because even if He is “out in the desert”, or “in the inner room,” they will think that He is a false Christ and reject Him. No one will be able to believe in Him and no one can receive salvation. That is why we need to correctly understand the message that Jesus was trying to convey in Matthew 24.

Jesus Gave This Warning For His Disciples

As mentioned in the article, if we take Jesus’ words out of context, we might fail to receive the true Christ when He comes. When you read Matthew 24, Jesus was speaking about His Second Coming. But He wasn’t speaking to everyone:

Matthew 24:20 - Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.

When you read Matthew 24, you can see that Jesus was speaking to His disciples; not to all peoples. In the last days, they are the ones who follow Him and keep God’s Commandments (Rev. 14:12). From this verse, we can see that His disciples keep the Sabbath Day, which is a commandment of God, unlike Sunday worship which is what most churches keep today. Through the command of the Sabbath, we can easily distinguish Christ’s true disciples from the false disciples in the last days.

What makes Christ Ahnsahnghong the true Second Coming Christ?

Just to backtrack; we know that Christ is coming a second time to bring salvation.

Hebrews 9:28 - “…and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”

The Bible says that the salvation He is bringing is only for those who are waiting for Him. In order to be those who receive Him, what we need to know is, “where is He going to appear?” Without knowing that, how can we wait for Him? And also, if we know where He will appear, we will be able to recognize the true Christ among all the false christs that exists in the world (there are several hundreds out there even today; hence why we need to know where He will appear).

Christ Will Appear In Zion

Growing up, I heard the word Zion often. I didn’t really know what Zion was, but I knew it must be some place important because of the things people said about how amazing Zion is supposed to be and because Zion is a place written about in the Bible. What is this place called Zion that the Bible Speaks about?

Psalm 132:13-14 - For the LORD has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling: “This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it…

What makes Zion such an important place is that in Zion, God sits enthroned! As Christians know, Jesus Christ is God. Then doesn’t that mean He should be found enthroned in Zion?

Acts 4:10-11 - “… It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth… He is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.’”

1 Peter 2:4-8 - “As you come to him, the living Stone-Rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him-you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in scripture it says: ‘See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.’”

The Bible teaches us that Christ is the Stone. Apostle Peter understood this and was able to explain clearly that Christ is the Stone who is the foundation of Zion. If Christ is the foundation of Zion, that means we can find Him there. In other words, when Second Coming Christ appears, the place where we will be able to find Him is Zion!

Romans 11:26 - … The deliverer will come from Zion

It wasn’t until I studied the Bible at WMSCOG that I learned anything about Zion. That’s because according to the Bible, the WMSCOG is Zion. And in the WMSCOG, the One who appeared in Zion and redeemed us is the true Second Coming Christ, our Heavenly Father Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Thank you for publishing these blogs. It helps me to explain the WMSCOG to my family who attend Sunday Church, & who believe the false rumors.

I completely agree with this article, the message of Christ pretended to his people only , in another verse of the bible I remember Jesus saying that the secrets of the kingdom of Heaven are given only to his people not to others , therefore it makes so much sense to say that Mat 24 applies for the ones that already met the second Coming Christ . I received Christ Ahnsahnghong as my savior therefore I must not believe In another one who claims to be the Messiah .

This is a fact! The words of the Bible truly guide us to Christ, only by following God’s teaching that is recorded in the bible we can clearly understand and see the perfect truth. This article prove the fact that WMSCOG is the only true Church that follow 100% the Bible.

Just as Jesus was the name of the savior 2,000 years ago Christ Ahnsahnghong is the savior in these last days! Jesus told us about his second coming!

This is so clear. The message Christ gave in Matt 24 was for those who had already received the Christ. Until we receive Christ we should have an open mind to see the prophecies and recognize Him. After recognizing Him correctly according to the Bible, we should not be deceived by false Christ’s that masquerade as God.

Hmmm. I’ve always wondered about Jesus’ 2nd coming, but so far nobody has any concrete information about it. I visited this church and heard about Ahnsahnghong. It’s definitely strange to meet people who say they know something that has alluded everybody else, but so far all the logic adds up, and I’m definitely not throwing away my shot…

It’s great to see the word of God come to life before our very eyes. Jesus said that he will come again and He did!!! What greater joy can there be than God Himself coming to us.

When Jesus warned of false Christs who would appear to deceive people, he already implied that a true Christ would appear too. So what he meant was that we should not follow a false Christ. He did not mean to say that we should reject all the Christs, even the true one. To distinguish the true Christ out of many false ones, he gave signs and prophecies. We should not reject the true Christ Ahnsahnghong just because of the warnings about false Christ.

Christ Ahnsahnghong is the 2nd Coming Christ who will save us! That is, Christ Jesus has come a second time with the new name ‘Ahnsahnghong’!
